Classic movie music that plays as Bond (Roger Moore) and Anya (Barbara Bach) trek into the desert in The Spy Who Loved Me. Aside from the whistling janitor’s use of the Goldfinger theme in On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, this was the first time in the series that familiar music from another film began to seep into the action of a Bond movie. It would happen again in the next film, Moonraker, when themes from The Magnificent Seven and Close Encounters of the Third Kind were used.
