British Secret Service agent, portrayed by Tim Moxon, who is the head of station in Jamaica in Dr. No. With the help of a local Cayman Island fisherman named Quarrel (John Kitzmiller), Strangways has been gathering telltale ore samples on a nearby island called Crab Key. For his investigative work, Strangways and his new secretary are ruthlessly gunned down by Dr. No’s assassins, the “Three Blind Mice.”

Strangways has the misfortune of being the first casualty in the United Artists 007 series.
