(July 3, 1959–     ): Tall, blond West German actor who portrayed Necros, the formidable assassin who battles Bond (Timothy Dalton) on the cargo nets in The Living Daylights. Born in West Berlin, Wisniewski made his motion picture debut as Fletcher in director Ken Russell’s fanciful horror drama Gothic (1986). After his James Bond film experience, Wisniewski was cast as Tony, one of the thieves working for Hans Gruber (Alan Rickman) in the original Die Hard (1988)—the first to be taken down by John McClane (Bruce Willis).
