WOOD, CHRISTOPHER

(November 5, 1935–May 9, 2015): British screenwriter/novelist, a favorite of director Lewis Gilbert, who wrote The Spy Who Loved Me (with Richard Maibaum) and Moonraker. A London native, Wood made his motion picture writing debut on director Val Guest’s comedy Confessions of a Window Cleaner (1974), based on Wood’s novel.
