Its holdings include a large oil field off the northern California coast and a huge microchip manufacturing plant that is supplying a new generation of chips to the Soviets. It also owns and operates the Main Strike—an abandoned silver mine in California that is part of Zorin’s scheme to destroy Silicon Valley, the high-technology capital of the world.
