Terrifying razor-sharp, retractable weapon deployed by a Udaipur mugger, portrayed by William Derrick in Octopussy. Normally, the bandits from Udaipur prefer not to bother the women on Octopussy‘s (MAUD ADAMS) island. However, evil Prince Kamal Khan (LOUIS JOURDAN), determined to destroy Bond (ROGER MOORE), has enough gold to make it worth their while.

First they deal with poor Vijay (VIJAY AMRITRAJ), who is brutally murdered while on guard. Stealthfully making their way into the “floating palace,” three muggers approach Octopussy’s bedroom, where Bond is asleep. The yo-yo-yielding man hovers above the bed. Fortunately, a drop of water from the tip of the buzz saw alerts Bond and Octopussy, and they dive out of the way of its destructive path. When his weapon is caught in a piece of furniture, Bond pulls the yo-yo man’s wire, and he comes crashing down from the balcony and is throttled.
