The doomed bride of longtime 007 friend and compatriot Felix Leiter (David Hedison), portrayed by Three’s Company veteran Priscilla Barnes in Licence to Kill. Married to Leiter in Key West, Florida, Della is later murdered when the henchmen of escaped drug lord Franz Sanchez (Robert Davi) break into her house.

Leiter himself is thrown to the sharks in the marine warehouse of Sanchez ally Milton Krest (Anthony Zerbe); he loses his left leg. Della’s murder and Felix’s mutilation send a revenge-crazed Bond (Timothy Dalton) after Sanchez.
