British agent, portrayed by Terence Cooper, who, thanks to Miss Moneypenny’s daughter (BARBARA BOUCHET), becomes a British Secret Service Anti-Female Spy Device (AFSD.) in the 1967 spoof Casino Royale. A judo/karate expert, Cooper wins the assignment when he kisses Moneypenny with such vigor that she immediately summons him to her bedroom for additional testing. The AFSD. is a ploy of Sir James Bond (DAVID NIVEN) to neutralize the effectiveness of enemy female agents employed by Dr. Noah (WOODY ALLEN). Cooper is also given the name James Bond—another trick to confuse the enemy.
