Contributed by: The Complete James Bond Movie Encyclopedia by Steven Jay Rubin

Atmospheric Moscow storehouse for Soviet treasures where art forger Lenkin (PETER PORTEOUS) is carefully duplicating a cache of jewels for General Orlov (STEVEN BERKOFF) in Octopussy. General Gogol (WALTER GOTELL) eventually discovers the forgery operation, bringing Borchoi (GABOR VERNON), the curator of Leningrad’s Hermitage, to identify Lenkin’s work.

Picking up a duplicate of the Romanoff Star, Borchoi scrutinizes it with a magnifier and then drops it onto the floor, where he crushes it into a million pieces with his boot. Lenkin is then arrested, and Gogol pursues his investigation of Orlov.
