(October 21, 1945–     ): Rugged American character actor who portrayed Ed Killifer, a duplicitous DEA agent who accepts a $2 million bribe to free convicted drug lord Franz Sanchez (Robert Davi) in Licence to Kill.

A native of Miami Beach, Florida, McGill made his motion picture debut as a bigoted white soldier in director John Schlesinger’s World War II drama Yanks (1979). McGill later made a strong impression as Naoh, a prehistoric man, in Jean-Jacques Annaud’s acclaimed prehistorical drama Quest for Fire (1981). He’s also well known as Big Ed Hurley in the television series Twin Peaks (24 episodes, 1990–1991, 2017).
