The method by which James Bond (SEAN CONNERY) and Tiffany Case (JILL ST. JOHN) return to Europe in Diamonds Are Forever. Thankful billionaire Willard Whyte (JIMMY DEAN) tells 007 that if he’s having a good time, just let Whyte know, and he’ll have the captain sail the ship around in circles. Unfortunately, appearing in a porthole are SPECTRE assassins Mr. Wint (BRUCE GLOVER) and Mr. Kidd (PUTTER SMITH), who are ready to liquidate 007 once and for all.

For the short sequence in which the assassins appear in that porthole, the Diamonds crew actually journeyed to the English seacoast to film aboard a real luxury liner. The actual interiors of the ship were filmed on a soundstage at Pinewood Studios, where designer Ken Adam created Bond’s luxurious shipboard suite.
