POLO

Diminutive assistant, portrayed by Ronnie Corbett, at the Mata Hari Dance and Spy School in the 1967 spoof Casino Royale. Because his exterior pacemaker is constantly malfunctioning, Polo is in a continual state of anxiety. He has a great fondness for Mata Hari, whom he served, and a newfound fascination with Mata Bond (JOANNA PETTET), her illegitimate daughter.

Flirting with Polo, which drives his pacemaker crazy, Mata Bond is able to get key information out of him. This information leads her to disrupt an auction of compromising photos organized to raise funds for Le Chiffre (ORSON WELLES).
