Deadly projectiles stolen from Nicaragua’s Contra rebels by drug runner Franz Sanchez (Robert Davi) in Licence to Kill. Felix Leiter (David Hedison) has brokered a deal with Sanchez’s chief of security, Heller (Don Stroud), to help return the missiles to the US government in exchange for immunity from prosecution.

However, when Bond (Timothy Dalton) tries and fails to assassinate Sanchez, a spooked Heller changes his mind. The Stingers are used ineffectively against Bond in the wild tanker-truck chase.
