An atmospheric standing location on the Pinewood Studios lot that was the background for the first pre-credits teaser sequence of the series in From Russia with Love. Tracked by SPECTRE assassin Donald Grant, the phony 007 in the Sean Connery mask tiptoes his way through an evocative setting of finely manicured bushes and trees, walkways, fountains, and statuary.

Director Terence Young, filming his second James Bond film, based the mood of this sequence on a similar setting used in the Alain Resnais film Last Year at Marienbad (1961). The Bond sequence began shooting on the night of April 12, 1963.
