Sleek, bright yellow, two-man submersible, built by Perry Oceanographics of Florida and used in two James Bond films—The Spy Who Loved Me and Licence to Kill. In Spy, the Shark Hunter emerges from Atlantis to participate in an attack on 007‘s (ROGER MOORE) Lotus submarine car. It’s eventually disabled by an underwater mine deposited on the ocean floor by Bond.
In Licence, the Shark Hunter II is used to rescue drug runner Franz Sanchez (ROBERT DAVI) from a DEA van that is driven into the sea by Killifer (EVERETT MCGILL). The Shark Hunter was originally built in 1975.
