TEE HEE

Contributed by: The James Bond Movie Encyclopedia by Steven Jay Rubin

Chuckling associate of Harlem crime boss Mr. Big (Yaphet Kotto), portrayed by character actor Julius Harris in Live and Let Die. Literally the drug kingpin’s right-hand man—he has a grasping hook for a right hand—Tee Hee lost his real hand in a fight with Old Albert, a Louisiana crocodile.

In a climactic battle with Bond (Roger Moore) aboard a train destined for New York City, Tee Hee has the upper hand, until 007 manages to grab a pair of scissors and snip the wires controlling his hook. Unable to remove himself from a precarious position, Tee Hee is kicked out of the train window. A similar train compartment fight between James Bond and Jaws (Richard Kiel) was featured in The Spy Who Loved Me.
