(April 29, 1954–     ): Irish American character actor who portrayed US Air Force officer Captain Jack Petachi in Never Say Never Again. Perfectly cast as the nervous traitor who falls under the spell of vicious SPECTRE assassin Fatima Blush (Barbara Carrera), O’Herlihy’s Petachi is a whimpering bundle of nerves forced into increasingly dangerous actions to save the life of his sister Domino (Kim Basinger).

Born in Dublin, O’Herlihy is the son of actor Dan O’Herlihy (Fail Safe). He made his first major splash on American television when he was cast as Ron Howard’s older brother Chuck Cunningham on Happy Days (7 episodes, 1974). He made his big-screen debut as Wilson Briggs in director Robert Altman’s dramedy A Wedding (1978). Genre audiences may remember him as hunky Airk Thaughbaer, a rebel warrior in Willow (1988).
