ONATOPP, XENIA ZARAGEVNA

Steel-thighed killer and former Soviet fighter pilot who now works for the Janus crime syndicate in Russia; portrayed by Famke Janssen in GoldenEye. Onatopp, a Georgian by birth, challenges Bond (Pierce Brosnan) to a wild road race outside Monte Carlo—Bond’s trusty Aston Martin DB5 versus her red Ferrari. She later seduces and kills a Canadian admiral by crushing him with her thighs during lovemaking, steals a top-secret military helicopter prototype, and returns to Janus in St. Petersburg. She accompanies General Ourumov (Gottfried John) to Russia’s Space Weapons Control Center in Severnaya, where she machine-guns the entire technology support staff, and then attempts to kill Bond in a St. Petersburg steam room.

When Bond tracks Janus to Cuba, he runs into Onatopp, but this time he gets the better of her. When Onatopp rappels out of an enemy helicopter, she lands on top of Bond, who is groggy from a plane crash. Bond manages to pull his gun and shoot the helicopter pilot. When the chopper goes out of control, it drags Onatopp with it, slamming her against a tree and most likely snapping her spine.
