Rather than commit himself to the clinic’s healthy dietary regimen, Bond packs “emergency” rations including the beluga, quail’s eggs, foie gras from Strasbourg, and vodka.

It’s also what black-marketeer Valentin Zukovsky (Robbie Coltrane) manufactures at his plant on the Caspian Sea in The World Is Not Enough. When the plant is obliterated by buzz-saw-wielding helicopters deployed by Renard (Robert Carlyle), Zukovsky ends up in a vat of caviar that nearly drowns him, until he supplies useful information to Bond (Pierce Brosnan).
